As a three-D artist Billie Neal-Schwab devotes her time both to creation and to design: her work is not only aesthetically pleasing, it is also functional. Wet-Felting is the earliest method of creating fabric. Sheep’s wool is layered and then hand-agitated using natural olive oil soap and water. After design and creation, most of Billie’s pieces are embellished using found, re-purposed, or manufactured items, giving added dimension and depth. Billie lives in Venus, PA and adds vocal, tin-whistle and recorder accompaniment to the Celtic/Folk quintet “Anamcara”.
